Anwendung

Measuring capacitor K 63  (Auxiliary Capacitance K 63 for 1” – capsules)

Manufacturer: RFT VEB Mikrofontechnik Gefell

Application

The measuring capacitor K 63 is an auxiliary capacitance which can be screwed onto the 1”- measurement microphone preamplifiers MV 101  or MV 102 or by means the adapter A 63 onto the ½” – measurement microphone preamplifiers MV 201, MV 202 and MV 203 or those of other manufacturers instead of the measurement microphone capsule MK 102 or MK 103.
The auxiliary capacitance enables the determination of the external voltage at the output of the microphone amplifier with the input locked under normal service conditions.
When used as an input adapter the application and the frequency response of the microphone amplifier can be measured and thus the auxiliary noise sound pressure can be calculated.

Design

The end of the measuring capacitor at the side of the preamplifier corresponds to the 1”-measurement microphone capsules MK 102 or MK 103.
The connecting thread and the centre contact are designed in the same way. The signal for measurement of the amplification and of the frequency response is fed through a BNC box-type-plug.
